FAQ

Good to know.

What can you paint?
Any helmet, guitar bodies, necks, and headstocks, and golf club heads. If it ships, it can probably be painted — reach out and ask.
How durable is the finish?
We use Sport Coat brand primer, paint, and clear coat; the same materials used in sports helmet recoditioning and factories like Riddell and Schutt. These materials are specifically designed to handle impact, the malleability of its surface, and UV resistance. In other words, your items will be painted to handle real use if subjected to it, AND look good on a shelf. The goal is a finish that performs as well as it shows.
Do you paint face masks?
Yes — face mask painting is available as an add-on on helmet orders. We reserve the right to decline a mask that's too damaged or worn for a quality finish, and we'll always notify you before proceeding.
How does a golf club head need to arrive?
Detached from the shaft. We're not responsible for disassembly or reassembly, so please send the head only.
My guitar is fully assembled — is that okay?
Yes. Assembled guitars are disassembled and reassembled by a third party at additional cost, which is built into the assembled option at checkout. If you'd rather handle that yourself, choose the unassembled option — note we aren't responsible for disassembly or reassembly you do on your end.
What happens after I send my item?
Every item is inspected on arrival. If there's a condition issue or the scope doesn't match your order, we contact you first. No work begins until any discrepancies are resolved.
How do I get it to you?
Three ways: ship it in yourself, drop it off locally, or have a retailer ship it directly to the studio. You choose on the order form, and drop-off or mailing details arrive with your confirmation.
